I moved nearly a year ago and immediately changed my address. After a preorder still went to my old address I phoned and the person I spoke with said it would be fixed.

my next preorder went to the old address phoned again was told nothing could be changed once a label has been created. But was assured it had now been changed and this one my last preorder before I moved would come to my address.

Today I got an email telling me my order had been shipped to the old address. I didn’t bother to phone because I was told it can’t be changed once a label has been created. So now I have to try to get my order from the extremely unfriendly people who live there now. They were really angry the last time it happened 

I don’t know what they will do if they get it. So I will have to run over there and grab it before they do. I just don’t understand why my address couldn’t be changed for preorder’s and I’m not very happy about having to look like thief to get my own package. The last time they didn’t want to give the Package even after I showed them my I.D. He said this had better not happen again 

It was JUST handed off to UPS today and delivery expectation is 12/15.

Why so long?

Are we transporting on the back of a donkey now? 

Why there’s no option to pay in dollars if I’m outside the US? Euro is now higher than dollar and you make me pay 10€ more for the dolls in € than if I payed in $. My change tax is better than yours, so why should I pay in Euro??

Mattel. I’m a 60s child so I understand that older people don’t like change yet I also understand that most kids that are trying to collect today want their dolls to be able to pose differently than just a model,  sit Indian style, turn flips and climb a dance. 

I’m not for sure why Mattel does not offer all buyers the option to buy new release DOLLS that are (fully made to move) (Silkstone) and (Model Muse).  With this being said, The K-Pop Demon Hunter Doll which are well known to kids is going to be released at $150 with just the Basic Articulation that provide only minimum posing ability when they are obviously martial artists.
  My great niece loves the animated show-and they’re not even offering the made to move bodies which means we have to pay more money on top of the overpriced $150 to find these dolls a matched skin tone to swoop out the dolls body. It truly would be a good strategy to give customers the option at pre-order which doll body they desire

Have a section for buyers to click at checkout which body type is desired.  SS (Silkstone Basic) SS Articulated, (MTM) Made to move, (MM) Model Muse basic, or (MM) articulated? 
 

If the Mattel’s industry would take the time out and look at Barbie blogs they would see that many of The Dolls have been switched out to the (MTM) bodies because of the articulation that provides more possibility to provide action type photos without the use AL which actually falsify advertisement of the Barbie dolls that don’t exits yet have people seeking these fake lovely dolls which should push you Mattel to do better at satisfying all Mattel customers.
As always, just release doll bodies of all the shades or skin tone of the dolls released in the past with no heads at a decent price, not like $100 three different dolls set that are interchangeable with the hair, clothing and accessories. They are nice, yet the same skin color. Just doll bodies.

Hopefully Mattel knows that the (MTM) Yoga, basketball, tennis dolls all the (MTM) dolls don’t sell out because they liked the dolls. Yes, we love the dolls, but repeating the buy, is to swoop out the doll bodies of dolls we already own.
The (MTM) bodies sold out because we need the bodies to interchange them with older dolls or dolls the new released doll that are not fully articulated.

Barbie The Movie Barbie and Ken Campfire Scene 2-Pack

Is anyone else finding the wait time for this presale set to arrive, a little ridiculous? I get that it's a pre order & made-to-order, but it's been 9 months and I ordered it in like the first hour of the sale on day 1.

Is only 1 employee in the whole company making these?

I've tried to ask customer service about this twice now and they are zero help. I say "i know this was a presale but +9 months seems kinda ridiculous". They reply "We looked it up and it's  presale."   

- No kidding.

I'm moving out of state at the end of the summer. By the time they ship it, I won't live here anymore.

I purchased in the first 3 hours of day 1 of the sale. 

Mine shouldn't be the last ones to go out the door.

This is nuts!

I wanted to kind of complain but I didn't know where to go. I wanted to just put in a suggestion but didn't know where to do it. 

I paid for my membership yesterday, but I'm unable to access the member exclusive forum. How long do I need to wait before I'm allowed access? 

The topic was about a MH membership I had to buy to get the chance of getting the Reel Drama dolls which should have dropped a certain time in my country but they didn´t and then I was able to buy them on a local store after waiting an hour for the dolls to drop on MC. So the membership wasn´t really needed.

But I also asked MC support why they don´t deliver to my country anymore (which is Germany) or more specific why do they deliver only certain items.
I used the example of the My Scene dolls that dropped last year. I was able to buy them with no problem. And with the new My Scene drop I was looking at the older drop because I wanted to get another Barbie from that line and all of the sudden the "old" ones couldn´t be send to my contry anymore. The funny thing is I could buy the new drop of the My Scene dolls (Nolee and Jay)
So what makes Jay and Nolee so different from Barbie,Chelsea and Madison?? What are the shipping restrictions that prevent me from buying My Scene Barbie but not My Scene Jay and Nolee???

Germany has it´s own MC website but we only have a few items....nothing new and it also doesn´t get updated so ...?

Also MC is expecting international fans to maybe have friends and family in the USA to get them their order...or maybe hire a proxy service which cost more...why getting internationals fans treated that way? It´s just very unfai and it´s not only Germany but all over the world

I don't understand why you can't order from Mattel Creations Shop from abroad at the moment. Yesterday, a Masters of the Universe figure was launched. Countries like Germany, Spain, Australia, Italy, UK, Japan etc. were able to order. Not me, in Austria/Europe. How come? It worked so far, why not anymore? I asked the shop if and when this problem will be fixed. I got exactly the same answer as the one displayed in the shop. That's not really satisfactory, especially when the new dolls come out soon. Collectors in the big countries can then order them and those in the smaller ones, like Austria, can't? If so, I'm really done with Mattel.

Likewise, who lives in a country where deliveries are no longer possible?

Good morning, I am in the U.K. and I am sending yet another email. This time I am angry. You have four dolls on my much wanted list that have gone into the sale. I quickly added them to the cart and was more than happy to pay a huge shipping fee because Barbie brings me joy. My childhood wasn't great but I could depend on my Barbie to always be there. That's how much the brand means to me. I even did my college dissertation on Ruth Handler many years ago. She is a pioneer, an icon and she made something so incredibly special. But you are denying the rest of the world, I was so upset last night at the online checkout. What Barbie has taught me is that to sit in silence equates to no change being made, but to use your voice means someone might finally listen. Barbie conveys the message that you can be anything....except available to the people all over the world. Don't tell me to go to the UK site, it's rubbish. There are only 6 dolls available. Please, I am begging you, please make your dolls available to the UK and the rest of the world. Thankful but sad.

Mattel released an Inspiring Women series, I hope to be the woman who inspires you to ship Barbie all over the world. 

I understand Mattel has reasons not to ship to Slovakia, and I accept it. Last year Mattel didn´t ship to Slovakia either, but I was able to buy the digital membership and I was so happy, because I was able to communicate with all die-hard collectors and to vote in polls, where I was able to express my opinions. Tomorrow, my membership is ending, so I wanted to renew it for another year, but I am not able to purchase the new membership because it is connected to shipping, even though there is no need for shipping for a digital membership.

I spent beautiful years here on the board and I will miss all kind members, thanks to whom my everyday life was enriched.

Please reconsider this change; the digital membership shouldn´t be connected to shipping, it doesn´t make sense. 

have several problems: I cannot order any dolls from the current campaign — it always shows me that they are not available for my country. However, I have ordered some of them to Germany in the past.

Also, I can’t reach Customer Service via the contact form — the page always switches to German, and then I receive an error message!
