I've noticed that the castings where the truck is a covered hauler don't seem to sell, and are clogging the pegs. 

 

 

Hopefully this won't kill off the series, the open haulers are great.

I noticed the same thing although it didn't occur to me me it was because of that reason. I think it's the Nissan that I keep seeing here, two full pegs of them in one store alone.

The Walmart here has 2 pegs packed full. 3 different selections, all  have the "closed box" hauler. Everything else sells. I've bought a few to try and clear the pegs, but I don't want that many!!

Same out here. One would think the Datsuns would disappear quickly. But nope they sat for a long time.

I think it's the over produced Japanese cars that are slowing down. I just haven't bought any of them .

Wal-Mart pegs were packed with them today.

I was curious about this and checked in my area today. I visited two Wal-Marts and a Target. Yep! Same thing here. 

all the Transporter sets were the box trucks.

Both Fleet Flyers shown were 2 per case. The duplicates almost always get left behind after the initial frenzy wears off.
