Crohnenberg Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 Looks like a slot car play set with Snake and Mongoose: https://www.autoworldstore.com/product-p/srs330.htm I’m kind of not surprised anymore that we just stumble upon this stuff without an announcement. On the other hand, this is really cool and I’m glad to see HW partnering with another 1/64 manufacturer and slot cars at that! I’m not sold on the price point, but I may regret it after seeing it.. SAMMYRAY Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 I think it's very cool. Thanks for the info. Quote Signature by Coolbreeze

Not to split hairs or anything, but "H.O. scale cars" aren't the same "H.O. scale" as trains. "H.O. scale" cars are generally 1/64th scale, give or take a percentage point or two. With that said, this is a really surprising set to see going into production, given the number of licensing issues involved. The package art even shows a MATTEL Meatball on the Hot Wheels logo, which is often missing on licensed products. The price is about average for that type of playset from AW, so I'm tempted myself. DAR1988 Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 Autoworld makes great stuff. Not my thing but cool. Quote
HUNTNDOG Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 That is cool...I do find it odd as Mattel bought Tyco and has made other hot wheels slot car race sets... Quote
BIGBADBRAD01 Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 I saw this the other day. Very cool. Quote [attachment=:name]
