Credit card payment Info - why CVV? Is that not against privacy policy

There was never once HWC / RLC asking for CVV (security code) during updates.

 

Only when during sale check-out is relevant.

 

1) Is this not against privacy policy?
2) Is this a new format by HWC / RLC...in order to skip 1-step process during future check-out

No idea but that would be awesome if it didn't have to be entered at check-out.

I'm having the exact same question.

 

It's a security RISK for all members that are choosing to store their credit card on file since the form requires us to enter the CVV.

 

I can't believe more members aren't ringing the bell on this one. And how in gods green earth did that change get through legal.

This is a clear credit card security breach!!!

At no time should the CVV 3 digit security code be stored by  any data base!!!

Customer Service should act NOW!!!! to fix this!!!
