  Attention members and staff, have you shopped the Tootsie Roll Nova on EBAY yet????? There have been several HUNDRED sold already, potentially by the same ILLICIT members that caused several hundred

real and Original members to miss out on the Super Treasure Hunt Set, and I was One of them !!!!! I called the 800 number and was courteously Apologized to by the operator who, though not responsible for any of this problem, did so any way.  I would suggest that any REAL members of this club, I'm an Original First year member, refrain from supporting these CROOKs and purchasing these items in order to curb this problem. The Hotwheels staff has a tremendous task ahead to stop this activity of PRE-SELLING items that aren't even available for sale as yet, which is also a violation of the RLC Membership if you bother to read the membership agreement. As it is nearly impossible for the Staff to stop, i would suggest that the members take action and curb these CREEPS and stop this full blown rip-off of the Honest members. P.PS.--- I still don't have the Super Set and will not purchase it from EBAY swap creatures !!!!!!

Just curious where you founds hundreds already sold. I just did a check & there are under 40 sold(presale) and only around the same amount still for sale(presale). Maybe I didn't see something you did?

This a most certainly, pre-sales. The seller is hoping to get a car and puts it up for sale BEFORE they even get an order. If they don't acquire one, they just cancel the sale. Happens every RLC sale. They aren't stolen, they aren't doing anything "wrong", they are just trying to sell an item before they get it. IMHO, not the best way one should buy any item. You'll see more ads after the sale, stating "On-hand" or "Confirmed". If people want to join the RLC to buy cars, then sell it to people who don't want to bother joining the RLC, you can't stop them. Plus Mattel charges an arm & a leg for most international shipping, ebay is often cheaper for some.

What is illicit purchase? I wouldn’t consider pre selling an item illicit. Are glitch sale items illicit? If an item allows you to add it to your cart and complete the order how would that be illicit?

I don't like members who join RLC just to make money on eBay.. nit fair for the other members. but if I can't get car through Mattel and I want it I get it from eBay and pay dearly..?
