THEBIGSHAQTUS Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 Not sure if earlier errors were more common or slightly more rare. I would think a card error would warrant multiple cars being packaged like this, but maybe a lot of them were opened before anyone ever noticed it was wrong. What do yall think? Quote
THIS_IS_A_TEST_86 Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 (edited) There's no real way of judging how rare a specific card error is, especially for something 20 years old. There's no way of finding out if something is "1 of 1". Card errors like this happen a lot. As for collecting them, some people do, but I don't see them as particularly desirable unless the actual car was desirable in the first place. Edited February 21, 2020 by THIS_IS_A_TEST_86 Quote

Yeah I figured you wouldn't be able to tell, although I know I've seen some like really big errors waves where people market them as "super rare wrong card error", but yet you find 50 for sale on ebay. I personally love this all black Continental. It actually wasn't until after I bought it that I even noticed it was on the wrong card, so in that sense I could see why not many people would care unless they were specifically looking for such an error. Thanks for the info though! Quote
1.EYED.JACK Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 It also goes to show that in the grand scheme of things, even if it were a 1 of 1, very few people would care that it was/is. Based on the size of the blister looking appropriate for the Lincoln and impossible for a Power Wagon, I'd guess that the card mistakenly made it's way into the Lincoln run. A fun oddity and not a ton more. 1 Quote
