ONEGREENRAY Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 PA state tax is 6%. There is a Mattel physical location here in PA where you ship from. So why am I being charged 8% sales tax? I should only be charged the 6% sales tax, you are incorrectly charging customers tax. see image attached. Another complaint i have is the membership has gone up $5.00 per year, the shipping has gone up from $5.95 to now $7.95. When the items are being shipped less then 30 miles from my house. These items weigh less then 13 oz , Drop FedEx and ship them first class, save your customers money. You do not guarantee the safety of them with smart post anyway. why can we not have the option of choosing FedEx or USPS? USPS deliveries 90% percent of the packages anyway. If $29.99 is the going rate for cars this will be my last year. 1 1 Quote

R055J Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 You’ve gotta be kidding me. Who bitches about something like this? Such a petty endeavor? Oh ya, hot wheels people do. I should change hobbies. These folks are so miserable. Seriously. Quote
Mike_J Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 Yes, shipping is taxable in PA. From the PA Dept. of Revenue - https://revenue-pa.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/214/~/are-shipping-and%2For-handling-charges-subject-to-sales-tax%3F Quote
