Biante Holden vehicles in larger scale

I'm an Australian living in the Chicago area, and I have done for almost 20 years. Most of my collection is Hot Wheels, but I have been buying from Biante in Australia because they specialise in the Australian market for Holden and Ford. I'm a Holden fan, and have been since I was a kid growing up in Tasmania. So this first graphic sums up my thoughts on Fords. ? The lion being the Holden emblem.

 

 

Over the last few years, I've brought a couple of 1:18 Biante Holdens and most 1:64 scale. The first one below is a Holden HX Sandman Panel Van, and I think that it would be great in Car Culture in a surf culture theme. You could also include a Meyers Manx and US made station wagons and vans like the Custom '77 Dodge Van, '66 Dodge A100 etc.

 

 

The last car is a Holden LC Torana GTR XU-1 race car that Peter Brock drove in the 1971 Sandown 250 race. This could also fit in Car Culture with a touring car theme, so you could include ideas like the Volvo 850 from the BTCC, a Mercedes from the German DTM and others.

Those area some really saweet Biantes Bunyip...YES they are incredible diecast pieces. Some of the best replicas I've ever seen......The gone but not forgotten "gary young" (Gazzer) sent me quite a few 1/64th Biantes(raoks) in trades just before he passed away. Some of my most trreasured diecasts..... I have them safely tucked away. I should dig them out and have another look at them.It's been a while. I try to keep them protected and absolutely dead mint...........

Yes, Gazzer was a great bloke... I have some really good 1/64 Biante cars too, and my most treasured one is autographed by the co-driver Jim Richards from Peter Brock's most famous Bathurst 1000 victory where he won by 6 laps.

WoW !,...I'm impressed i'd add those to my collection in less than a heartbeat so I

added them to my diecast picture collection of car's I don't have & custom's, lov'em...??,

Thank you! The 6 banger is an inline 6 202 ci with triple weber carbs. The next generation of that car, the 1972 model was the very first car that Peter Brock won the Bathurst race in.

Ah cool, I saw the name Brock and wondered if that was the same Brock (BRE)....??

No, a completely different Peter Brock actually

Only ways to get these Stateside is to buy direct from Biante and have them shipped or hunt on eBay
