5 memberships per household is too many when others go without getting a membership. 5 memberships makes it to easy for one person to stock up on RLC items and resell on eBay.

How does everybody else feel about reducing the memberships per household?

5 memberships or not, I know people who have 20+ accounts. If it was possible before, I don't see how increasing or decreasing the official limit will have any impact on people who create multiple accounts. There's no point beating the dead horse over and over again. Just my 2 cents.

They just use multiple addresses.  There's guys on IG with 10-15 accounts or more.

If this was a "true" club then members would have a say, or vote, in how memberships are managed, but it is not a club in the true sense of the word. The only thing members get to vote on are the RLC Selections cars.  I never understood nor agreed that Mattel would allow multiple memberships for one household.  For father-son(s) type activity that might work but there is no way for Mattel personnel to verify this so it allows opportunity to fraudsters and auction flippers.

So, what your saying is that my wife can't have an account, none of my kids can have an account, my mom, dad, or anyone else living in my house can't have an account. Five accounts per household has been the case for as long as I can remember. I have always had my own account then when I got remarried my wife wanted her own cars, what am I supposed to say to her, sorry you can't because other RLC members say you can't, trust me that does not go over well with my wife, and i suspect many others wifes.

Mattel is a publicly traded company that exists to satisfy shareholders, not club members. It’s definitely not a true club by your definition.

I would prefer two memberships per household, especially since demand is so strong. However, we have no input as to how Mattel operates the RLC.

Why not one credit card per account? That same card can't be used on another account.

because then mattel wouldnt make nearly as much money lol
