MAXIMUMKARMA Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 Previewed on the dreamteam's instagram, the '96 impala SS is almost here! This has been on my wish list for quite some time and I'm glad to finally see it in diecast form. I'm a bit bummed that the tampo application is lacking, the rear is left completely blank, and the sides only shows the impala badge. Should have gotten a full tampo treatment for its debut, similar to the range rovers introduced in the past few years. I'm hopping this will eventually get a premium level treatment, or even RLC level treatment, to do the model justice. I could easily see this in spectraflame rocking a set of real riders or even neo's! Large 90's muscle sedans are few and far between, so there are a lot of opportunities to get unique and creative with this one. A big thanks to the design team who brought this car to fruition! 4 Quote Personal RLC Wish List (2025 and beyond): 1993 Dodge Viper RT/10 1989 Honda Prelude 'Kaminari' 1978 Aston Martin V8 Vantage 1989 Custom Ford Taurus SHO Wagon 1993 Lamborghini Diablo SE30 Jota 1999 Plymouth Prowler w/ Trailer

Guest juke Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 I'm excited for this too - but really look forward to it in a premium version - it deserves it! Quote
SAMACE26 Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 I'm excited for this one also. And to me it looks great the way it is. I can't wait to add this one to my hotwheels collection. ? Quote
THINICE Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 That's a very long sedan. After looking at pictures, I think black is fitting for it. I like how new releases have cleaner looks before they get more into the fancy deco and details. The wheels fit well too. They should do the Ford Taurus from the 90s. If there is any iconic civilian car that made its mark during that time, it was certainly the Ford Taurus. Quote
EvergreenKing Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 Will make a nice addition to the collection :) Quote
Tasmanian Devil Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 Great new casting. Even though it's one that certain users doesn't think exist ? 1 Quote sELECTIONs addict ... if you don't vote, don't complain about the result
