B. Wayne Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 (not displayed) 1966 The Penguin Batmobile 2009 Comic Con Edition - Tumbler & Bat-Pod Batman The Animated Series Batmobile Battle Damaged Does Hot Wheels have an archive where I can find information about this set. Looking for stock photos of cardbacks and vehicles. Does anyone else have this completed collection?
BILLJOHN Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 I know I am lacking a few, but this is where I keep track of my collection. The 1/50 section starts about halfway down the page. Sorry I don't have card back shots.http://www.billjohn.com/hotwheels/bats/index.htm
BMM01BMM Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 Great collections. Love the batgirl cycle. Was it ever carded or only found in the the 3 piece box set?
B. Wayne Posted February 27, 2020 Author Posted February 27, 2020 I appreciate the response to the link...I will be sure to check that out. I found a facebook page "Hot Wheels Batman 1:50" If you view the photos, someone put together a 2 piece card back. The Batgirl Cycle, to my knowledge, was only released in the 3 piece Comic Con Edition. I will update my photos next week with the 3 that weren't displayed. Thanks again for the positive feedback.
B. Wayne Posted February 27, 2020 Author Posted February 27, 2020 One other note: If you look at the picture I submitted of Batman v. Superman & The Justice League... The Batman v. Superman Batwing is actually a "Matchbox Skybusters Batwing." As you can see, the scale matches perfectly. Its made of plastic, similar construction to the 1989 Batwing from Hot Wheels. I meticulously drilled a small hole and used the same display stand as the Animated Series Batwing. I felt using the same stand just really made it look like it belonged to the collection.
WOLFIE76 Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Glad I got the Matchbox Batwig. LOL This is a great set have them all including the 3 box sets, real nice cars.
