DCWHEELS67 Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 Is there anybody besides me not finding new hot wheels stock at their local Walmart store? I live in the phoenix/surprise, Arizona area and my Walmart stores haven't gotten any new hot wheels products this year. I know Walmart doesn't stock anything in January but to be in late February and not have any hot wheels is getting a little ridiculous. I have been waiting for the "E" case to hit with the first zamacs of the year. I haven't seen any 2020 basic matchbox cars anywhere either. Thanks for your input. TURTLE35 Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 Not only nothing but it seems like when I go someone is already there looking at old stuff or even no stuff. So many people out there now it’s taking the fun out. Sad when I can get the on Amazon never leave and I’m ok with that cause I don’t have to fight the guys standing there for 45 minutes looking at everything with a microscope Quote
mmadrid Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 remember, not all walmarts get zamac cases. 1 Quote
JEBSGTI Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 No new basic Hot Wheels at my two local Walmarts since before Christmas. In Kentucky. ? Quote
SAMACE26 Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 (edited) No new hotwheels basic cars at my 4 Walmart's in Syracuse New York since before Christmas. Luckily my targets have been putting out new hotwheels basic cars. I found the C Case cars at target along with me finding the 1967 jeepster commando super treasure hunt. I also found the D Case cars at target. And I have been finding E Case cars at target. So target has been up to date on they're basic cars and also they're premium series cars. I found this past Friday at target 4 of the new pop culture led zeppelin cars and I found some new entertainment cars. My Walmart's haven't even been putting out any new premium cars out around here. The pegs are either full of old ones from Last year or they're completely empty. So target has been my store for finding new hotwheels since before Christmas up until now. ? BIGEASYSAINT Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 Nothing in basic Hot Wheels since the C cases at 2 nearby WMs, but the small Target has gotten maybe 2 D and 2 E cases, not that I've gotten much from them. The Target did get the premium shipper with JH3, F&F Rewind, and Led Zeppelin; 1 WM got the Boulevard shipper, 1 WM got 2 cases of the F&F Street Tuners. Still haven't seen any Door Slammers around here. 1 WM actually pegged a case of the Larry Wood $2.14 50th Anniversary Hot Wheels this week, along with a few other very old $1.27 sets. Technician68 Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 The latest Walmart Bin I encountered was already rifled thru and it was 2020 D case . This was back in Dec only Target has had later cases regularly the past mont or so. Maybe they have em by Easter with D E F and G. Quote
FIREBIRD02 Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 It does seem as if newer cases are taking longer to hit the pegs, especially at Walmart. In Central NJ, we've been stuck on a "B" Case BOD since December. Targets are showing "E" case deliveries once in a while, but have been devoid of ANY T-Hunts. Quote
MYKTURK Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 (edited) The local Wally that would usually move a bin worth of stock a month, got saddled with 6 bins of A cases right AFTER Christmas... They're now down to two overflowing bins of mega picked over A case bins. Don't expect to see anything new there til spring at best.
