866HWC Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 Is It just me or does anyone else notice that no board moderators ever respond to our questions or request? Only RLC members, I understand that a lot of members are very aware of the behind the scenes workings but, I kinda thought Mattel would chime in here! Crohnenberg Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 HW employees are very busy, plus even if they responded, incorrect info and the same questions will be posted over and over and over again. Not to mention the sheer number of posts that get submitted. Also depends on legality and confidentiality As far as mods go(who I don't think are employees but volunteers), they have busy lives like most of us. I do agree moderation can be better and have voiced that opinion in the past. Quote

HWCGary Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 I see Moderator responses all the time. But keep in mind that Moderators, and even Admins, don't always have an answer for you. We try to get ones all the time, but sometimes we aren't given one. Sometimes, even when we do, we're under instructions not to address a thing until there is concrete solid info, and that is NEVER as quick as everyone always wants it to be. So when you're piling up the same question 1000 times on any given day (as with Tuesday), and you don't feel like there's any response, it's because we don't have anything to give you, and we don't want to say anything that will either be wrong, give you false hopes or misinformation, etc. I mean, we're not allowed much room for speculation. You guys get plenty of wild conspiracy theories going all by yourselves. ? But seriously, yeah, sometimes you can see that an issue is a big one and the more you pile onto it, the less likely you are to get a response. Because then, instead of trying to address the issue or find out about the issue, our time is taken dealing with the Board freak-out. So we don't have the time to research and respond, and you don't get any kind of replies. As a rule, once you see a post about a thing and your issue has been brought up a few times, we're aware of it. The more Topics you open and the more you wind things up, the less opportunity you leave us to address the matter and to get back to you. In the future, maybe know when you don't need to "me, too" a thing. 5 3 Quote -- HWC Gary

HWCGary Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Sure. Just know that Ask Hot Wheels is not the right Forum for this Discussion. Notice I moved it to Website Discussion. Ask Hot Wheels is for questions about products. Questions about anything on the site belong in here. ? Quote -- HWC Gary
