honda1975 Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 After yesterday's debacle at not getting a new membership, I did have to stop at Wally World in Urbana to get some boxes for my brother's move from his house to an apartment. No matter what, I still collect mainlines, so I decided to stop by the toy aisle. To my surprise it looked like they just filled 6 bins in the walkway. I saw some reg GT-40s and Honda Monkeys, so I jumped in. I pulled about 18 rteg GT40s, 9 Monkeys, but I also was very fortunate enough to pull 13 Unimog TH's and 1x GT40 STH!!! It reminded me that if I get that RLC membership or not, I still collect mainlines, Honda's, and Muscle Cars no matter what. RLC is extra, so I'm trying to keep it all in perspective. 2 Quote
Paleo78 Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 That is a haul of unimogs. I'm still on the hunt for that GT 40. That's a special one! 1 Quote
honda1975 Posted February 27, 2020 Author Posted February 27, 2020 Paleo78, It was in the 6th bin about halfway down. It was surrounded by 3 Unimogs. It made my heart skip a beat. It is the first one I found this year. 1 Quote

RICKROLLA Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 My closest US Walmart is overflowing with 2019 mainlines. The toy manager says he has about 6k of them. The warehouse just sends the old ones. Quote
honda1975 Posted February 28, 2020 Author Posted February 28, 2020 Rickrolla, Yea I think Wally World screwed up over Thanksgiving-Christmas as all mine were very dry. They were suppose to have put the bins out during that timeframe and sold thru. Even some of the other stores, Meijer and Target in my area, are still behind. This was the 2d time this Wally World had put bins out to sell. The last time it was only three, but still late '19 and early '20 cars. Quote
