GNRFAN Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 (edited) When I log into my account I get the error in yellow text as shown below and I can't access My Account. When I click on my name the drop down menu gives you options like Payment Info, etc. All of those pages have an error on them too. This started during Tuesdays sale which I wasn't able to renew my membership. Edited February 27, 2020 by GNRFAN Quote
HAZZA17 Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Exact same here. Got stuck in a loop with confirmation tick boxes and couldn’t renew, and now see this. Still have access to RLC forum pages though. Like I’m stuck half in RLC and half out! 1 Quote
GNRFAN Posted February 29, 2020 Author Posted February 29, 2020 (edited) Apparently I'm not able to buy anything at all in the shop. I'm not being recognized when I'm logged in even though my name is at the top of the screen. Edited February 29, 2020 by GNRFAN Quote
Chlaredo Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 This has happened to many members including me and is being looked into so hopefully this gets resolved soon. It would help if everyone that has this issue would post here so we can get a rough idea of how many are being affected by this system error. 1 Quote MSG Jay Comparoni FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION
RLEK2 Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 Add me to the list - regardless of my post count, I've been around since the first year (RLC # is under 100). My first interaction with Customer Service was no help - they didn't seem to get anyone to look into the problem... will have to keep trying =( 1 Quote

At first I could't get the number because clicking the Customer Service link at the bottom of the page gave me an error. Had to clear my cache to get it to work. CS looked at my account and told me it said I didn't have a "stock" account here. Meaning I never registered a HWC.com account. I've been registered for 18 years with a RLC membership (until Tuesday). I can access the forums, I can post messages, I can still access the RLC forums for now, and my name is at the top but my I'm told my account says I am not registered here. I told this to CS and they said I didn't have to believe what he was saying about my "stock" account. I cleared my cache while CS while on the phone and it's still giving errors. Said it would be passed along to the IT department and they would get back to me in 48-72 hours. Quote
HAZZA17 Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Hopefully the IT dept can sort it then. Good luck and keep us all posted! I'm sure the issue is with our profiles and not the computer / operating system. I've tried with PCs and Apple devices and I still get the same thing as you've shown above. I know when I was trying to renew it was going fine initially and I acknowledged some tick boxes and clicked to proceed but the step after that seemed to the be issue - it is like my profile got stuck somewhere in that process and now I can't see my account history or details, but I can still access the RLC forums like a full member can. During the renewal I could continually get to the tick boxes but it would fail after submitting over and over. I even borrowed my Mum's brand new phone to try the renewal and I got the same, so again I don't think it is the device or operating system. My fear is that even if there are more memberships released my profile will still be stuck in this status and half signed up half not and so I still won't get any further! Quote

Yes, It's 100% not our devices. I tried multiple desktops, tablets, and phones clearing cache on all of them. During the sale I got as far as you did. It was going normally slow (as with all sales) then I finally got to the check boxes and that's when the issue began. Never got past that and the sign in loop began. Quote
