DAR1988 Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 I have been looking at lots of vintage Hot Wheels lately. Some of i have never seen before but I feel like I could have had them as a kid. So even though I never owned them they seem somehow familiar to me. Does anyone feel this way? The vintage tankers from the late 70's to early 90's are an example. I had Hot wheels in the late 70's early 80's but none of the tankers. Only cars. I would have gone nuts over them as a kid. Anyhow when I look at these tankers they remind me of my childhood even though I never saw them before and never owned them. Quote
THINICE Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 I would have loved the robot soldier cars that can stand up. Forgot what they were called. I used to have battles with my cars and other toys, and having an army of those cars would have been really neat. 1 Quote

David_Mau Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Off the top of my head I'll say that as a kid I would've loved the 1966 Batmobile, 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302, 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429, 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1, Drag-U-La (from The Munsters), Mach 5 (from Speed Racer), Monkeemobile, and Munster Koach all as Hot Wheels cars. So far as an adult I'm only two for eight with those as Hot Wheels. LOL ☺️ Dave Quote
SAMACE26 Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 I would've love to had as a kid the Volkswagen drag bus. But now as an adult I got a lot of those in my hotwheels collection. ? Quote
DAR1988 Posted February 29, 2020 Author Posted February 29, 2020 Good choices all. But what about castings that existed while you were younger but you didn't have??? Quote
1.EYED.JACK Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 I totally missed the Open Fires. That one hurts the most. 1 Quote
