For those of you who got your Tootsie Roll'r, have you received the packaging in damaged condition? I got mine today and the plastic case is cracked in the upper corner. I saw someone got almost the same damage as mine. Just curious. I already contacted CS and waiting to hear back.

Did you get this car? If not, this post isn't for you. Thanks for your input...

It's not about whether he got the car or not. You just don't have that much of an option. Those are your likely options. Historically, if you have an issue with the item you ordered, you can return it for a refund. Especially when it's sold out, they don't have a new one to replace your damaged one with.

And if you don't want to return it, your only other option is to live with what you received. It sucks, but those are pretty much the options.

Edit: I also hear that if you choose to return it, you pay for the shipping back to them, and they don't refund the original shipping cost... I'm not sure how much of that is true, but it was a recurring thing I read about.

Read my first sentence. I wanted to see who had gotten damage on their packaging for the people who ordered and received this car. I did not say or ask what my options are on moving forward with my own order.  Thanks for your input.

I noticed the car did not fit well inside the shipping box. It was bulged upward and reinforced with extra tape. I can see where this could cause a higher than normal percentage of damages during shipping. Was your packaging like this as well?

Where are the over sized boxes they were using a year ago when you need one?  They really dont have a clue at times when it comes to properly shipping these or what size box to use on these now getting very expensive cars. Sorry to hear yours is damaged good with whatever you decide to do.

Yes I did get mine, thanks for asking.    That doesn't change what your options are.
