Matchbox package with hot wheels car inside

I found a matchbox package with a hot wheels car inside from the factory. Is this super rare or worth anything?

Someone took the more valuable car that was in the package and returned it with a less expensive item in the package. Getting there money back and only being out the 94 cents. Pretty  low of the people that do this to cheat retailers out of there product. An interesting find non the less. But not to say I have not seen this happen before. Not worth paying the price of the package for  a 94 cents car.

I thought that too but there was 2 of them and they were perfectly sealed

Someone swapped the cars. The car in it is made in Malaysia and the MB items are Thailand or China.

I`m pretty sure it has ben tampered with. Some lowlife did a very  good job opening and resealing this.

Of someone swapped them they did a seamless job. Low life for sure.... 

 

Hypothetically, if this were a true Mattel error, would something like this be valuable?

100% swap. Matchbox is made in Thailand. That VW was made in Malaysia.

Actually no because the SUPERFAST series sell for about $5 bucks and the HOTWHEEL sells for 0.94 cents.

Yeah I get that. The question is if an error like this is worth anything. Not the car itself. Obviously a 94 cent car isn't as valuable as the 5.00 280zx
