JACKMAN4X Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 That is one sweet '67 GTO. One of my favorites to collect. I have almost ever '67 GTO that has been released by Mattel. Would love to have one of those in my collection Quote

Forgot to say, I also have some on cards/sets that aren't shown here. The ones in the cases are ones I have more than one of. I don't open the ones I have only one of. If it only came loose, it is in the case. I also have a nice collections of Firebirds and Hotbirds. I'm a big fan of the Pontiacs. My very first car was a 1953 Pontiac. Bought it in 1960 or 61 for $200.00. Next one was 1957. Very first one bought new was a 1967 1/2 Firebird convertible ordered from factory to get a special paint (A metallic plum mist). Not many metallic paint colors offer in those days. Not many wheels to choose from either. So I ordered a factory wire spoke hub cap. Pain in the butt to clean. That is why they aren't on the car in the picture. Sure wish I still had her. She was a beauty for the time period. She got a lot of looks. Quote

Too bad HW doesn't use this casting anymore... that I know at least. The main 3 I collect aren't really used at all as a matter of fact. This, the 64 GTO and the Hot Bird. That's why I've been searching out customizers customize them for me. Chris also did a 64 GTO (pic attached) fot me. I'm just waiting sure the Hot Bird he's finishing. Can't wait for that one! COOLBREEZE1626616022 Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Those will look nice, But Cragars would look killer ?? Quote
MY84GT350COMCAST.NET Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 I had a '67 Mustang Ragtop with wire caps you are right they were a real pain to clean. Now with all of the spray on wheel cleaners and brushes they might not be that bad??? Quote He who dies with the most Mustangs and Cobras WINS!
