jarmo Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Can anyone share the number of units that had been produced of a Limited Edition / Limited release products historically? A good guess anyone!? 1.000pcs? 10.000pcs? or several 100.000pcs?
Tasmanian Devil Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 If it isn't given a number on the packaging, there's no official word. I'd bet 10s of thousands for the Hot Wheels iD at a minimum sELECTIONs addict ... if you don't vote, don't complain about the result

SEAMOORE Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 I heard it told that all hot wheels are limited editions because they don't make the same car with the same deco forever... Nightshades Roadster in the works...

I can remember when out side of shade differences the cars would be released in the same color paint and with the same tampo's for multiple years in a row. and with the same wheels. these days production of each release is set to a number for all cars, based on the line they are made for. and they are all produced at that set level. no more, and no less. when production is done, they strip and clean all the machines and tools in preperation for the next quarter or year to start production.
