Anyone out there that got in on that action and are waiting for it to ship? Yeah, I backed a few in that campaign - one for someone who lives reasonably nearby whom I'm letting have a set at cost price since he's a new collector who missed-out, not a reseller. Looking forward to the Macho Man especially. The Diesel looked a bit bare compared to usual Ultimate Editions standard, but maybe they needed to save more of the budget to make Doink as cool as he looks? 1 Quote
Knight-71 Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 Any idea of the release date? I can't seem to find any info. Quote

For the New Gen Arena then there was an indication that the set would be ready about a year after the crowdfunding campaign ended, so we’re looking at this summer basically until we hear differently. I doubt it will be much sooner than that as it generally takes Mattel a year from creating a figure to getting that figure out into stores so I doubt there will be much room for speeding this project up beyond a month or two at best. There’s some logic that they might want this set out well become July’s SDCC on the basis that Mattel might want to get the first crowdfunding project delivered before they launch their next one, which might be announced at SDCC. Unfortunately we haven’t received much in the way of updates on the Arena in general since the campaign ended, but Mattel does like to save-up news and updates to reveal all at once at big shows like WrestleMania Axxess and SDCC. This sometimes means that announcements get overshadowed because Mattel might be announcing new Elites, Basics, Ultimates, Legends, SuperStars, Wrekkin’, Retros and any new lines all at the same show, but I do expect we will hear a decent update on the Arena set at WrestleMania. Not sure if they will announce a date though, but an indication would be nice. Quote

But two MUST haves would be OWEN HART & CHRIS BENOIT I also would love to see a manager and announcer line as well. Quote
Tony Tracy Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Found these in Walmart today in clearance area for 4 bucks. Didn't get in on the New Gen Arena collaboration but this makes me feel better! 3 Quote

I think Austin is in that last wave. The line has been replaced by the new SuperStars line, which are basically the same style figures but without the Masters elements. Walmart should have the first series now-ish with Hollywood Hogan, Bray Wyatt, Honky Tonk Man and Ric Flair. If you haven't seen them already then check online for photos of the second SuperStars series; it has Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and the Ultimate Warrior - they look amazing. Quote
SHOCK 80 Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 Would love another crack at the Creations Ring set. I would settle for just the figures too lol. Quote
