What do you think the next skullecktor doll will be

I’m kind of disappointed, this was a missed opportunity to release draculaura’s father. Like Mattel could have expanded the monster high lore by including a journal from Dracula’s point of view… but we got this instead. 😐

This is all just my opinion, speculation and my thoughts on the Dracula skullector doll. 

With the reboot happening, maybe Mattel will decide to make Dracula and the other parents. But if they do, I think it will be the playline; which is a good thing since more people will get a chance to get them. If Mattel decides to make them, that is. But I do think it would be really cool to see the parents of our favorite ghouls and monsters with their kids. 

I personally don't think this is a missed opportunity; because this doll was made for the skullector series. The skullector series doesn't have an impact on the Monster high universe as a whole, and the dolls that are made for the skullector series are crossovers with other horror themed film. The skullector dolls so far are all female, and I think they are keeping with the trend. This Dracula doll was made for the universal monster skullector series, not Monster High; which is probably another reason why she is a female Dracula. Most of the recent collector lines, (besides the Haunt Cotoure) were made for collectors, and not to impact the Monster high story and universe. This Dracula in particular wasn't just made for Monster high fans, she was also made for collectors who enjoy horror and the universal monsters. 

In my opinion, this was not a missed opportunity; since this Dracula doll will be hard to get. Hopefully, if Mattel does decide to make the parents of our ghouls; they will be more widely available than the skullector series. Plus, by making the skullector dolls, hopefully Mattel gets enough money to make the Monster High relaunch a fangtastic success!

Again, this is all just my opinion, and I do agree that the Monster high parents should be made because I would love to see them too! I just hope if they are made more people who are fans of monster high have the chance to get them~ ^w^

As for which skullector doll is next, I think it will be a two pack of Frankenstein and the bride of Frankenstein, since it seems they are going with the universal monsters theme. I really hope they do make the Creature of the Black Lagoon; which if they do, it would be the one I think I'm most excited to see. 

For a skullector doll I would like Mattel to create, my top pick is definitely Edward Scissorhands. I'm curious what they would do for the hand molds, and also how they would reimagine his design; especially if they make the doll female.

They have done Darculaura's Father in the play line release already. In the twin set doll pack with Drac. 

Doing Drac's dad as a skullector wouldn't make sense considering the Skullectors are based of Movies or Shows and while still apart of MH they are completely seperate from the Reg MH drops. The Collector dolls have nothing to do with the MH story line we have all grown to love.

I am still hoping for a line of Universal Monsters, but if not the Universal Monsters, a Skullector doll based on the creature from the upside down in Stranger Things would be amazing also.  Maybe they could use a variation on Venus McFlytrap for it...

Edward Scissorhand would be awesome, esp. since he's a unique monster.

As I said in the other thread, in some way they're treading the same grounds since the Monster High girls and guys already covered a very broad monsterworld spectrum, and I think that's why the Dracula doll looks like a permutation of sorts of Draculaura, and if they make a Frankenstein doll it'll necessarily remind of Frankie, etc.

Edward Scissorhands was my first thought when I read this topic 😍

And even though the other characters aren't all "horror", I'd be happy with a complete Johnny Depp / Tim Burton line 😅 Imagine Willy Wonka, Mad Hatter, Barnabas (there is the Vampire theme again), Sweeney Todd etc. as female dolls ❤️

This Skullector doll is not a part of the Haunt Couture line.  That series still has two more dolls coming.  With this doll, we have no clue as to if it will be just her or a series of Universal Monsters dolls coming.
