Under the pic in the description it says: "Creep your eyes peeled for more grey-scale looks to come." Is this a teaser? What do we think here? 😁 She must be the first in the upcoming Monster High Black and White Doll Series for $24.99 each. 2 Quote

cillabear Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 I wonder if there will be a B&W Monster High doll at SDCC this year? Quote
Gozer Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 I wonder if they will re-release Frankie, or just do four other dolls. Can you imagine how mad someone who spent a bunch of money on the SDCC version of Frankie would be if they re-released her for $24?! I would be so upset! I think Draculaura would be awesome in B&W. A gray-toned Clawdeen would be cool, like the Freak du Chic doll. She was so pretty! I am having problems imagining Cleo or Lagoon in gray. I wonder if they will stick to the core girls? I think Abbey could be neat with her glittery skin. Or perhaps a doll with more vibrant skin to begin with, like Honey Swamp, Venus, or Jane Boolittle? If I had to guess, they would stick to the core dolls though. 1 Quote
Gozer Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 I hope they do more unique monsters for the new line too. Did you ever see the original concept for Kala Mer'ri? She would have been AMAZING! I hope we got more of these type of monsters. A little outside of the fashion doll box. 3 Quote

Probably Draculaura and Clawdeen will follow. I’ve only read dolls #1,#2,#3 so far. So I’m not sure if there will be dolls #4,#5,#6, etc. But I do hope so. 2 Quote
Gozer Posted June 17, 2022 Posted June 17, 2022 Awe, they did collectors dirty then. I understand wanting collector dolls. I mean, I would love to get the Grady Twins but it is too late for me now, the price is too high. But if I saved and bought them and then Mattel re-released them for $25 I would be livid. It's not fair to those who have the SDCC version. That's the trust you have in a company when you spend your money on a limited edition, collector, or exclusive doll. Now, that being said, I am going to do my best to get the B&W series because I have always thought the grayscale Frankie looked amazing, I just couldn't afford her. But it still isn't fair to those who paid top dollar for the original. 2 Quote
rknralf Posted June 17, 2022 Posted June 17, 2022 I am on the fence with the B&W MH dolls. As a die hard MH collector, I want them, but not sure they would have a high place in my collection. I do have B&W Skull Shores Frankie and I love her... Maybe the greyscale dolls will grow on me.. Hope so! 2 Quote
