Motufan80 Posted July 9 Posted July 9 No this isn't a figure that was heavily asked for, a vintage toy inspired origins Two-Bad figure is what a majority of fans have been asking for..... When is it going to hapen? A vintage toy inspired origins Two-Bad? The packaging is reminding me of the 2019 San Diego Comic Con prince Adam and He-man 2-pack. It realy makes me wish we got a keldor&skeletor 2-pack in that form, with a half melted face and at 1 side the throne room, the other a dark temple dedicated to hordak. Quote

A vintage two bad is still coming. Why so impatient? Maybe he can be seen at SDCC. Otherwise there is still enough vintage Cara. Something will be shown there. 1 Quote

Something will be shown there. I have seen others say the same, usualy sourcing a fan site. The same fan site that has been wring before. We have never seen Mattel say it. We have been asking about this for years and if you check this forum, the vintage toy inspired origins Two-Bad has been talked about since februari and it apears to be the cartoon line. Mattel had months to step in and say this. Even worse, they make a video where they state this is the product people were waiting for while it clearly is not. it's not about impatience, it's about communication, listening to your customerbase, it's about presenting this like it's the thing people wanted, while its clearly not. Fans are elbow deep in the vintage toy inspired origins line. They would like to at least finish the core figure line instead of seeing the line diluted with su-man, filmation and turtle figures, even all the snakes were a bit of a stretch. The line seems to be without direction, we're still missing so many vehicles and playsets, we, the fans, are fighting an uphill battle agains distribution, store exclusives, QA related issues, non transparent shipping, tax and currency conversion costs, etc. But getting a news post out on a forum should have been such an effortless endevour for mattel. 3 Quote
Gonzalo76 Posted July 10 Posted July 10 I love this figure and I intend to complete the entire Cartoon collection. But my concern is about the distribution of the figures, I don't understand why Mattel Creations stopped shipping to Latin America like they did at the beginning. We are thousands of collectors who no longer have access to these products. We need and deserve an explanation from Mattel since collectors around the world keep Masters Of The Universe alive by buying all the figures. 1 Quote

It's quite clear. The Motu brand manager promised at SDCC 2023 last year that all Vintage Cara would be released. On Mattel Creations. It was clearly stated in Pixel Dan's video. This year at the SDCC 2024 this was clearly confirmed when asked. Dan asked about the vintage Two Bad and it was clearly stated that it was coming, that it was even fully modeled and was held back because Mattel wanted to sell the cartoon version first. So there is no reason to doubt that the remaining vintage figures will still be released. 1 Quote

Exclusive retail (walmart&target or ebay if you're from outside of the US) 3. Fan channels (BBTS and EE) 4. Mattel creations. In other words, the remaining (vintage toy) inspired characters did in fact not all come from Mattel Creations, at best, they were wrong when they said that at the 2023 SDCC/powercon Now if you paid attention to the date of the post, you could have seen that the post pre-dates the 2024 SDCC, i was going of the previous statements made by mattel. Mattel presented the cartoon two-bad like it was the thing we had all been waiting for, it wasn't. People have been waiting for the vintage toy inspired one. 2. Mattel knew the discussion had been going on for -->Months!<-- They never stepped in to clear things up. This caused people to needlessly stress out because, for all we knew, this was our only chance to get a (vintage toy inspired) origins Two-Bad. Next time, pay attention to the date of the post. i made mine on the tenth of july, SDCC 2024 was on the 25th to the 28th of july. Quote
