As many of you have likely seen, we recently revealed the upcoming Masters of the Universe Origins Snake Lair Crowdfund! While this crowdfund was selected MOTU fans like you last year in Eternia's Choice, we're hoping to get just a bit more feedback from you all!

Please take a few moments to fill out this short survey, which also contains all of this set's most iconic details!

We're looking to have all feedback submitted by no later than this Friday, August 2nd at 12PM PT, so please do try to fill out the survey by then!

It's to high to display, unless it's easy to disasable. it's visually unapealing.
It doesn't close properly for storage.
It's about twice to three times as pricey as it looks dump the vehicle and i might give you 60 bucks when it is on sale, assuming the top could come off.

I bought castle grayskull and snakemountain when they were 60% off because the castle looked too bright compared to the vintage and it was missing the space suit.
I bought the snake mountain on sale because of the rumored QC issues (pins in the swamp breaking of and the stickers being realy bad) And i still fellt like i overpaid.
 

Furthermore, in the past there were huge issues with shipping and customer support that to this day were never resolved propperly.
I would not trust you again with such a large and overpriced project because you don't produce enough of them to replace the ones that arrive broken on our doorsteps.

If you continue like this one tragedy after another you will be going down like 90s and this is a friendly advice from a Greek collector with over 400 MOTU items and over 2800 Transformers . Mattel Creations case is the worst thing in the history of the MOTU franchise . Countless problems one after another 5 seconds buttons to buy a customer his figures crowfunding for projects accurate only in the art broken boxes on deliveries figures not given and are ghosts and the black international market for MOTU type of exclusive creations thing that would be on retail normally goes beyond roof like 50 usd goes to 250 and etc . Now the advice . Give worldwide mini comics with text like USA editions not textless that you faulty releasing worldwide . Give to anyone at retail everything even Two-Bad exclusive that was a ghost on SDCC . Stop MOTU Creations tragedy by all means and let it be to retail as well even Eternia or every other MOTU stuff . Sellers fandom everyone are very upset with creations failed thing . Regain your past glory and see the big picture See the forest and leave the tree already . Cartoon collection is only for mass retail not to a 5 seconds button joke . Vultak for MC ? This is a joke Good that we saw Modulok for retail if we understand now time correctly and we hope for this . Give the rest of vintage back to Matell to release at normal retail . You ruined every single child their chilhood doing this . Unless you are haters or something . MattyColector was way better one million year ahead from Creation thing . Be serious and by correct these things . The best thing about is the high talent of artist making beautiful and accurate figures but with these actions of yours you are destroying this .

Además, suelo comprar cosas a Estados unidos y se encarecen con los impuestos, pero con vosotros los precios se encarecen el doble!

I gave my honest opinion on the survey.  Those of us who voted on the Snake Lair which isn't what was displayed at SDCC didn't want another Eternia.  The concept piece we voted on is great and expected a demo to look similar not completely different.  Start over Mattel design department.  Since the CUSTOMER had the chance to vote, create what the customer wants.  Even including the unreleased prototype from the original line won't make it 300 bucks.  At most, we should see 150 without shipping cost.

The design and colors of this prototype don't appeal to me.  In general. it's too dark and too fortress-like. 

*The central section is OK.  A bit tall.  There's not much going on in the entry hall, unfortunately. And it seem to me the elevator could be placed in this section to allow throne access--surely Hiss and Slither above climbing ladders. Also regarding height, do we need a tower cannon if we have a snake-cannon?   Some other action feature might be better atop.  Broken fang out front?  No, unless the whole coloring and deco is weathered accordingly. 

*The right section, with torture and birthing chambers, looks fun.  Unaligned levels without (perhaps flippable) stairs is a missed option.  I like the snake-cannon. 

*I know the small hinge panel is utilitarian, but the double barred widows are so boring externally.  And not serpentine. 

*The left "docking" section is problematic in every way:  Fully-extended, it's much deeper than the front profile of the lair, which is just visually and structurally wrong. But if you place it at a right angle, its side forms a large blank wall facing front--no detailing, no external action feature?  There should be at least a mural or bas-relief, for $300.00+ .    Again, the elevator seems misplaced--it's only for the Rattle Trap which I feel is overkill and does not look good docked. 

Where's a latch--is that the chained hook?

I'm not against a folding, triptych design--that's something new and fun. But the execution here isn't artful or playable. 

And let's be frank, you've done loyal customers a disservice by veering so sharply from your solicitation art.

740 euros and shipping 10 eur and 200 euros =960

Snake Lair 300 euros + 150 eur taxes etc + 100/200 euros shipping = 550 euros minimum / 650 or 750 maximum.

Yeah, i remember, the shipping issues were never resolved and the customer support  forumis stillfilled with unawnsered complaints.
And Mattel haven't even made a list of countries they are willing to ship too or what the costs are.

And with those extra costs, they couldn't ship it correctly, nor did mattel produce enough units to replace the broken ones.

I just thought we would be getting a cheaper price thing, like maybe $200. If I knew this was going to be a $300+ thing, I'd have voted for the Fright Zone instead. With Cartoon Collection, Turtles of Grayskull, Masterverse, and soon the Thundercats line... It's too much. You're going to start pricing far too many people out of these lines.

Exactly!  And the Fright Zone tweaks looked great, similar to how Snake Mountain was elaborated. 

I believed then that the Zone would make retail/Creations, and the Lair was a better vote.  But now I feel a little betrayed--sorry if that sounds dramatic.
