ArmyofRon Posted August 26 Posted August 26 (edited) Yes. In the US he never hit any retail shelves in my tri-state area. And BBTS and EE sold out instantly on him. I had a pre-order that was cancelled due to "manufacturer discontinued the product". I don't know what happened on that one but Mattel really STB on that release. Of course, as we now know, that was one of many. If you go back and look at the product line we could easily pick out a dirty dozen figures that were ridiculously difficult to find at retail. Just like when I see a photo of the Snake Lair that has Lord G'rasp and Terroar in them, it annoys me knowing that they (Mattel) know how many people weren't able to get one and then they flaunt it like that anyway. The same way I am sure it annoys some people who didn't get Eternia (early enough?) see King Grayskull in the photos in chains. And, on top of that, the "fan Favorite" re-releases were a good idea and initially gave me hope for a 2nd chance at some hard to get figures from earlier in the run. But, the recent announcements have shown me that they are re-releasing well known peg-warmers and still no sign of the known hard to get ones. So it's the reverse of Europe, we had a few figures and missed the most of them. We had to import the most from the US.😅 TBH still has a few king hiss figures left Quote

Motufan80 Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Or befriend a dutchie😅 I know importing figures back into the US is blasfemousp for many collectors in the US but for many collectors, importing is a way of life. i missed out on thunderpunch he-man on bbts and had to order mine from mexico. A bit pricey but worth the figure. Rokon on the other hand was a let down, Mattel creations refused to sell/ship to my country so i had to get him from Germany. Shipping and packaging was very wel done, very punctual. Very ordentlich. The figure however..... All it had to do was bend over and look like a rock but sadly it's rock- mode is a bit "cheeky"😜 Quote

PNGwynne Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Yes, we should really have another King Hiss--perhaps a Battle Armor version. 😉 Quote
BobaFett42 Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Out of curiosity, is there any update of the Snake Lair? Has the design team been able to figure out a redesign of it so us fans can back a better option of it? Quote
