just snagged 3 and a shirt. 😉 Weird they never made an old one even though they had him in the mini comic.

The minicomics and cartoon were filled with side characters, once created for a comic, it becomes a licencing and marketing issue.

Orko, king randor and the sorceres were popular enough for an action figure(aka licencing deal).

A one shot bad guy rarely is.

I got mine ordered.  I am glad his figure has the original axe.  I thought this figure would be a fast sell but I guess not.

Even i got a shipping notice, did mattel improve their (international) shipping?

Normaly i need to wait at least 6 weeks for a warehouse release. I have never had a shipping notice within a month, let allone in the same week.

I see very little talk about him online and the figure is still up, did it sell poorly?

I am both surprised and saddened to see Geldor is still available. While, at the same time, I am happy to see Mattel did not make too few of them. Mine looks nice on my shelf next to Fans Choice Tri-Klops.

Geldor came today.  The card art is awesome.  Maybe we'll see the siblings pictured on there.  They were significant before.  I still am baffled that he wasn't a quick sell.

I'm (just a little) surprised, too that he hasn't sold out. 

He-Skeletor sold out, and that was a more disappointing, phoned-in figure than Geldor.

I just hope when a character like Rio-Blast or Dragstor get released that management don't base how well Geldor sold (or didn't sell). It's obvious that demand for the characters left to be remade from the vintage era will sell better & faster than characters like Geldor or Demo-Man. I do believe a He-Ro would sell quite well though.
