Thanks a lot for pointing that out! I was wondering, but that's what I had found in an article from 2022 and why I used "he/him" (so now I'm a bit confused):

"He describes his style as “Romanticism Gone Nonbinary”

It particularly focuses on the person wearing his fashion. Reed particularly wants to use his work to fight for the recognition of gender fluidity. He describes himself as genderfluid: He feels defined neither by the concept of woman or man. This confused me when I saw the thumbnail because it looked like an Ever After High boy to me at first and I was like "holy crud, EAH collectors?" 😅

Anyways... so glad I am not interested. I don't really care for non-monstery dolls in MH unless they are tied to a horror or gothic story. And I am also getting tired of the Drag inspired stuff. It's something you can have in Barbie but for MH the creepy-cool aspect seems to be getting lost. Even reusing an older mold would have been cooler than just a human with fangs. While I am on my soap-box, I am also sick of this implication that "breaking gender norms" is all about fashion. Not a fan, sorry.

But it's yet another doll that no one saw coming, is it? The leakers are getting a little unreliable 😉

Fashion is expression. And Genderfluid people like Harris Reed have the right to express themselves.

(Also how's this 'Drag Inspired'? It's more High Fashion then anything.)

I think it looks alright. Fine. Perfectly serviceable. Not my cuppa tea.

It doesn't help that Witch Weaver comes after Young-Hee, who was a complete knockout for me so, y'know. Tough act to follow.

I had never heard of this designer (I'm not a fashion brand kinda girl so it's always out of my knowledge zone), but I am pretty intrigued with this doll.  My only critique is the eyes as it really gives barbie/myscene vibes to me.  BUT overall the doll is gorgeous, so, I will be grabbing one.

I had not as well. I did read on his site that his fashion looks invites, "looks and stares". How cool. Good luck to you sis! 🙂

I'm just hoping the doll won't be as expensive as the off white dolls.

I understand its still designer but i personally haven't heard of it and a lot of people have said the same so hopefully not? Its labelled as 2 dollar signs which means its not as expensive as the hocus pocus? Hopefully under 100 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 my credit is not lookin good rn...
