Guest poodlebear Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 As moderators have seen time and again there is often a lot of hubbub over the variation on what a promo pic looks like and the actual doll in production. Now while the disclaimer legally covers this issue I believe a great deal of this unhappiness could be avoided if promo pics were taken in natural light. I'm almost positive dolls are added to backgrounds with Photoshop or some smilar software and they can be color corrected to match the doll. As seen in the photo forum, I think best by member Puk2, Natural Light photos can be very beautiful, obviously desired in a promo. The warm light in most promo shots might be very pretty photographically, but it can drastically change the color of the doll. The bottom line should be to show a doll at is best *and* most accurate. Many more happy customers that way I'd bet. Come on guys, ya live in California! You got the sunshine! Step outside for your next shoot.
MICHELLEB_1975 Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 And then there are the dolls like Ethereal Princess. She is a joke. I do understand the discliamer, but I think the picture should update as the doll changes.
