Vintage should be separate from Reproduction

I think that the forum for Vintage should be separate from Reproduction forum, instead of being combined....it's like apples & oranges.....

Hello Rosebon... it is actually due to limited space. If they do that, we lose something else. Not because they didnt want to. There are bunches of different catagories we would love to have .... but space doesnt allow. Welcome to the board.

Mklean - I don't understand the 'not enough space' thing...I mean a website should have endless amount of space?!! The possibilities are endless on the net! Maybe its more technical than that?!

Technical or other, that is always their answer. But, no a website does not have endless amounts of space. You can look in the other threads, someone else just asked about a Skipper thread also. Not my answer, Mattels answer. There are all kinds of categories I would like to see. Vintage Fashions, Fashion Ave fashions,Francie, etc etc. And always someone is asking for a showcase of Playlines.

The only regular forum that has less posts than the Vintage/Repro forum is the Ken forum. I have to wonder if there is enough interest to warrant a separate forum even if there was space here at the site.

Vintage/Repro Forum has slightly more posts than Pinkbox, and both have about 1,000 or so more posts than the Ken Forum. Trading forum actually has the least. But I digress.

 

Wasn't there an overwhelming request a few years ago to combine the Vintage and Repro into one forum? I seem to recall such. (Please correct me if my recall is faulty.) The person who's asking this request is a newbie, and wouldn't know this (if this is so, that is). Just my thoughts.
