A few issues with the club this year

Hi,

I rarely post, and mostly lurk.  But I felt I needed to address a couple of things I'm unhappy about with this year's club.  First of all, I am not receiving any e-mail notifications of sneak previews of dolls.  I have no clue when sneaks are posted to the Barbie forum, and I don't have the time, or sometimes don't even remember to check the forum each day.  I thought as a member we were supposed to have first hand notifaction via e-mail when new dolls were announced.

The other issue I'm having is I'm dissapointed there was no exclusive Silkstone offered to kick off the club year for members.  As well as the little gift you gave members really wasn't much.  I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but it would have been nice to have received another dressform, or something that could be used with our collection. 

I know I'm not the only one who is feeling a degree of disappointment in the club this year. I hate to even mention that I am feeling this way.

Hi Vince, thanks for your thoughts and comments.  We're sorry that you are disappointed this year.

There are typically not email notifications when new dolls are Sneaked.  They are posted in the Sneak forum and a post is made by a BC Admin in the Modern Forum also announcing the new Sneaks.

There is a BFMC exclusive Ken doll this year but each year is different with the exclusive dolls offered.  As far as the BFC gift, it's difficult to choose something that everyone collects or would enjoy.  We did receive two dressform gifts in a row, which were enjoyed by many but some mentioned they did not have a use for that particular gift. 

There are many more dolls and surprises to come in 2014!
