Guest ETHERIAN1572387739 Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 It's no secret that the atmosphere here is unbearable sometimes. If it wasn't because of my love for Barbie I would have long long ago have left. It is to the point that I spend most of my time trying to stand or rebating members who create a really bad atmosphere when I should be enjoying doll discussions instead. So this is a formal request to have the membership policies about members' behaviour urgently revised. It's been so many years developing this situation. I can understand the "let's remain neutral" motto but in all honesty it is worst than making the effort to discern between what is right and what is wrong and it is making Mattel loose money instead of earning it. Mattel simply CANNOT please EVERYONE. That is NEVER going to happen so why not pleasing the ones who are worth it? The gay community is numerous among Mattel's customers so make up your mind. Besides it's not about sexual orientation, politics or religion, it is about respect and cohexistence and wondering why some just need to attack other people. Speaking of respect, now it turns out every opinion is respectable and that there are no WRONG opinions. EXCUSE ME??? How can I respect the lack of respect??? How can I respect someone else's opinion that is insulting me or the gay community or whichever other matter that has been discriminated here such as made in China products??? How can I respect someone saying 2+2=5?? Or say that these opinions are RIGHT???? No way I can do that. Are we kidding or what??? OF COURSE there are RIGHT and WRONG OPINIONS. It's always been like that. Mattel simply CAN'T ALLOW discriminating behaviour over here. I would highly appreciate a solution on this matter. Sincerely, Pedro Valle P.S.: I simply love my newest A-frame made in China high quality Dream House. REPLY: Agreed! Do NOT host controversial threads but DON'T host discriminating and insulting posts either. Which I see here EVERY DAY.
SHEREEM Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 This is a DOLL forum. We are a diverse membership and while we have an off-topic forum, we really don't need to 'host' in-depth discussions about subjects that are very personal in nature and which can pit one member's personal beliefs against another. So, let's come here to talk 'Barbie' and leave the rest to other sites.
