Guest elmoscookie83 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 I agree with Donna and feel that there are to many topics open on the TokiDoki doll. In the past the topics have all been closed and in the end we were only left with one why is this so different. Members like bibichen who are saying live and let live....doesn't it go both ways if you ask me that is a little embarrassing. I also thought that the MODERATERS job was to MODERATE (this is not an attack on the Mods but just pointing out something to a memeber). Over all I think that the topics about TokiDoki are littering the board and that there should only be one like all the other topics this doll is no different then before just because she "SOLD OUT" after she made the news.
Guest TOYBOX1572402193 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Members are highly sensitive to having their threads closed, moved. At this time Pluck does not allow Moderators to consolidate threads as we once had the luxury of doing on Strata, the only way to minimize threads would be to close them. Unfortunately members complain about their threads closed. There is no need to close threads without very good reason such as violations to the membership agreements. Multiple topics of discussion about TokiDoki does not constitute violations to membership agreements. All topics about TokiDoki should not be closed simply because they are similar, some topics have already been closed. For the exact same topics, our Member Moderators have closed such topics, leaving several different topics related to TokiDoki open. Topics closed: tokidoki Barbie is SOLD OUT again!, TokiDoki is sold out, Is Tokidoki REALLY sold out or will we be getting more next month?, Official Word on Toki Doki. Topics open: Tokidoki where else to buy, Is Tokidoki Barbie for you???, Tokidoki Barbie. 4 out of 7 have been closed: 3 out of 7 are open. An administrator did post about the status of Tokidoki being sold out which was not counted. This topic will run its course, allow members the luxury of voicing their opinions and creating new topics of discussion, and once the 'bruhaha' dies down, we will see these topics fade to page #15.. And the board will move on to something bigger, better and more exciting (worthy of another 15+ discussion topics no less). While we value your opinion Elio, it is nice to have a place where members are allowed to voice their opinions even in duplicate threads slightly different from one another (sold out, where do I buy, did you know, would you buy..)..
