Is it just me or did the Hershey's Barbie doll's price just change?

I could have sworn that when I looked at the new Hershey's Barbie doll last night, her price was $39.95. But tonight her price is listed as $43.

 

And isn't $43 a weird price for a doll?

Good for you Tara! I am glad you bought her before her price increased. I saw the 39.95 price this morning and thought about buying the doll, but didn't do it. Oh well.

Glad you called attention to this. I think the look on my face describes how I feel exactly. lol I think $39.99 was a great price. I don't like the hike even if it is just few bucks. I don't like the upward trend on doll prices.

Bummer. I was going to order her the day she went on sale here, but I am leaving on vacation in a week and didn't want to take the chance she would arrive while I am gone. We are stopping the mail but a UPS package would just sit around and quite likely get stolen or damaged.

 

What gives, Mattel?
