Hi. I want to add my comments about the damaged Barbie boxes being received from BarbieCollector.com. I received a few dented boxes (MFD) lately and was a little annoyed but "accepted" the last one and didn't make much fuss. I must say that the BC packers/shippers should, IMO, respect the fact that they are shipping to "Collectors" or potential collectors (hence, the website's name). Whether these collectors be NRFBers or deboxers, that should not be an issue. The boxes should be packed/shipped with RESPECT to a COLLECTOR. My reason for buying from BC in the past has been because I never received any damaged packages or boxes (in the past) and that, to me, was a high regard for collectors. Further... No gummed labels to peel off or placed in inconvenient places on the boxes. IMO, BC realized all of these things (in the past)- from the perspective of a collector. Sad to say now, that I'm beginning to lose that philosophy of why I order from BC. There is a lack of respect for collectors (from the shipping/packaging perspective), it seems. Why get that treatment from a company/website that in theory caters to collectors, when I can get the same treatment from other "regular" stores that sell collectible Barbie? I hope that BC re-emphasizes to its shipping/packing employees the importance of a non-damaged barbie box.
