Guest michellehw1572385531 Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Over at the Ask a Collector Forum, I asked this question: "I could have sworn I read on here some time ago that the Pop Life Barbies has 12 "points" of movement, whereas they referred to the Fashionistas as having "16 points of articulation" (not points or pivots, but "articulation.") I have both. I'm counting 12 points/pivots/articulation (whatever you want to call it) on both the Pop Life Barbies and Fashionistas. Are there 16 points of articulation on the Fashionistas and am I just not seeing it?" YES, I am very much into what seems like "insignificant" details when it comes to Barbie. Sorry, but no one answered my question over at "Ask A Collector." "Pivots," their ugliness, and "points of articulation" were topics of interest posted not too long ago in 2008. What happened? Could a Moderator or BCLouE~expert extroadinaire~ find out for me? Thanks! Michelle in Houston
Guest BCLouE1572382628 Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I'm flattered to be titled 'expert extroadinaire' -- though modesty (or perhaps honesty) forces me to demur... but I WILL forward the question along to find out the details on those points or articulation. thanks!
