Follow-up on Shopgirl free shipping

I really, really wish we could reply to our own posts on this forum -- it would certainly be easier than having to start a new post to respond to an earlier issue.

 

The reply to my earlier topic on why I didn't get free shipping on the Shopgirl answered nothing. However, I was willing to let it drop until I saw a post in the "Shopgirl" thread in the Modern forum.

So I called CS. The person I talked to was very nice but totally clueless. After putting me on hold for an extended period she returned to tell me that the reason I didn't get free shipping is because I didn't click through the e-mail to order the Shopgirl.

 

In the first place, I didn't receive the e-mail -- I haven't gotten a BFC e-mail in months. Second, I looked at the e-mail posted by BC Lou and nowhere did it mention that by clicking on it you would get free shipping. Third, in another post in the Complaints forum, it says the reason for not getting the free shipping was if an order used two promotions. This obviously isn't true per the post quoted above.

 

The CS person I talked to said a supervisor would call me with a definitive answer. Obviously that hasn't happened. I don't think you have a definitive answer -- you simple tell us whatever you can to get us to go away. I'm not that easy to get rid of. I would like to know why I didn't get free shipping when someone with an identical order with identical promotions did.

We have edited your post, as the member you quoted did not wish to be included in this topic.

 

To clarify the Free Shipping offer... there is no key code required and you should not have to click through the email to get Free Shipping. Your order must be over $50 and offers do not 'stack'... in other words, if you used another coupon code (the $10 off code that several members have referred to) that promo will take precedence over the Free Shipping offer and you will be charged shipping.
