I have a question that is also kind of like a complaint.

I have been a member for many years now, I didn't post often but I do now. But I really don't understand what is the criteria for deleting posts, threads, and so on and on.

I see some really hot topics, with members clearly saying offensive things about other members and about the designers, barbie and Mattel itself, and the threads remain... nothing happens to them....then some other innocent threads are deleted.

I trully don't understand any of this... I have a few theories in the back of my head, but I have the feeling that if I dare to post them, then I'd get suspended or something horrible that has happened o very nice people I have met here.

If you ask me, the boards have become a restrictive place of huge intolerance, and also a major Ego fights between a few members who clearly attack other members and have some kind of immunity.

Whatever happened to the nice and happy place where people got together to freely talk about a passion? And whatever happened to the idea of measure everybody with the same stick? some people get suspended and some others don't...some threads and posts get deleted and some others don't... I don't understand any of this...

We strive not to engage in favoritism and hope that it's not occurring. We take action on posts as they are brought to our attention... either as we browse the board, or as we get alerted. Complaints tend to be the driving force for topics being moved out of general discussion, and we may be reviewing that process in the future as there seems to be concern about how it's being applied. All I can do at this point is assure you that we are aware of the complaints regarding the nature of the board this year and we are attempting to find solutions.

thank you.
