BFC advertising and endorsing a dealer auction

I do not like the fact that a BC employee is basically advertising and endorsing a dealer's for profit auction, i.e. Sandi Holder's auction.

Sandi is a member of this board and can post about her auction, and Sandi is well known in the collecting world for her auctions.

 

This has nothing to do with my opinion about Sandi as a dealer, my only purchases from her went very well.

 

I just don't think it's appropriate for BC to be endorsing a private business, except as a general statement to support doll dealers

We posted the announcement as an item of interest to Barbie Collectors. Obviously, we're well aware of Sandi's status as both a Barbie Collector dealer and a member of the Barbie Fan Club, but felt that this auction would be of interest to collectors outside of its connection to Sandi's business.
