Guest pusskin1 Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Can you explain why? Isn't this an open forum for discussion for collectors?
Guest alexmarie Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 It depends on the topic. Yesterday many got closed simply because we were posting answers in one active thread during the sale, yet people were starting duplicate threads in other areas. Unfortunately, Mods can't be everywhere answering all the time, so we closed threads and redirected people to the existing topic so all the answers would be in one place. Often times, threads are closed due to complaints/content alerts based on content issues. Other times, people start threads that then get out of control and they request that they be closed. But above all, this really isn't an "open forum". There are membership rules and expectations of conduct. When a thread begins to become a problem, it is in the best interest of the board and the members for a thread to be closed or removed.
