I have been contacted twice by email from 2 people that claimed they got my email from the Barbie Collector site. The reason of these emails are because they are selling some dolls. I have never contacted them and even if they have dolls that I might be interested (so far they mostly have playline which I don't collect) I am a little paranoid. I don't want to be contacted, I have had enough trouble with something similar in the past weeks so I am limiting my information online. Do you know if this is legal ie people can get my contact information from BC? Thank you for any help with this matter.
Guest BCCS LesP Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Hi Ingrid. We would recommend that you log into the Fan Club and select My Account at the top of the page. Under the Heading "Bulletin Board Preferences", you want to check if you have "Display "Email" in the Bulletin Board" set as Yes. If it is set to yes, you would want to select Edit and change this setting to no. This will eliminate your e-mail address showing in your profile. Les
