My Afternoon Suit is not perfection

I was eagerly awaiting my 'Afternoon Suit' to arrive.  When she arrived today I couldn't wait to have a look at her and immediately on first viewing I was concerned about her hair.  I coculd see it was a bit squished at the back inside the hair net and there were some bits sticking out through the net.

I was disappointed when I deboxed her and found hair like this -

The hair in the promotion picture is just gorgeous and I don't know how I'm going to try & achieve that look with this hair. And why should I have to try & restyle the hair on an expensive, club exclusive doll?  The outfit is lovely but the hair on this doll spoils the whole look.

Returning her is not an option for me, I've had to pay premium courier rates to have her delivered overseas.

She is the second doll that has recently been a let down as far as the hair is concerned, Grace Kelly Rear Window being the other.  I feel serious attention needs to be paid to how collector dolls are packaged & presented - especially with high-end dolls like 'Afternoon Suit'.  It must be possible to have them packaged without the need for hairnets and heavy amounts of gel when these are not called for.  I think the hairnet has contributed to my dolls mis-shapen hair but having extra-long ratty bits hanging down at the back would indicate that not much attention was paid to the hair styling before the hair went into the hairnet. 

Sorry to have a rant about this but I feel really disappointed about this doll - and I was so looking forward to her arrival.
