Guest ETHERIAN1572387739 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I don't get why people is accusing Sheree of being a censorship. She's just doing what she's volunteering for and that's moderating. The problem here is that too many think they must moderate too and they aren't moderators. Deal with it. And freedom of speech doesn't mean saying whatever. Someone's freedom ends when someone else's starts. That's something many don't seem to accept but being into adulthood requires assume that. My only wish is that the true troublemakers here were spotted and put in their places but I get, they pay as well and that's why they can be here creating a bad atmosphere. Back to Sheree, I appreciate her trying to do her best and making the Board active with her optimistic threads. Pedro

Sorry I started another thread before I saw this one, but you said it all for me. Oh, well, Shereem deserves two! She is one of the most patient moderators ever, on this or any other board, and it takes a LOT for her to close a thread. She responds politely, informatively, and with discretion, and without favoritism. I can't image this board surviving without her. She's not the only great one, of course, but I'm responding to a complaint about her in particular. We have some moderators who are quite the opposite. So let's have some snaps for those who do it right! To elio: No, it was meant to be an answer, but I think yours was a jab.
Guest kachivaches Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I have been naughty and extremely rude with MATTEL, BARBIE COLLECTOR, Moderators and Customer Service...Everyone has been patient with me!!!. I offered my apologies at that time, I feel embarrased for how I acted and complained. I support Sheree and I give my apologies if I offended you again. Regarding Fan Club Member, don't judge so hard...we all have "rage" moments and we are emotionals without meeting each other's feelings--I speak for myself. It's hard to comprehend which this Board is PRIVATE PROPERTY...and there are rules, we must accept. Don't take it personal.

For me, Sheree is one of the most neutral, kindness and respectful Mods I´ve ever known and she share the same passion about Barbie!!!
Guest rooneygirl4201572397503 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Sheree is a great moderator and a great person. Anytime I've asked her a question she has answered politely and to the best of her ability. She always tries her best to be helpful and she's respectful to everyone on the board, even when things can get a bit out of control. She closes threads when necessary, and there's nothing wrong with that. She's a moderator, so people shouldn't complain when she does what she's supposed to do.

SHEREEM Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Thanks so much everyone! And even I have to sleep sometimes! The member moderators are tasked in part with making sure the board runs smoothly and that topics and emotions don't go too over the top. We don't like to close or delete threads and do try to let them continue running, even with the sometimes 'lively' conversations and points of view. However, there are times that we must step in with a friendly reminder and follow up with closing a thread.
