JOSEEEPHINE Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Hello, I for one does not complaint often but when I opened my new wardrobe I couldn't let this one go unnoticed... I see members complaining a lot about the quality of materiel used and I have to aggree with them. The design is fine, but the plastic used for it is so cheap, you know that shiny, lightweight one that even when you gently take it out of the cardboard box, it scratches? Even the hangers I can find replicas on ebay from China for about $1 ! For this price, I do expect a certain minimum of quality. I cannot return it since it costs me a lot in shipping because I'm in Canada. I believe that this piece is worth $25-$30 max. It looks way too playline (and the nowadays playline articles sold for exemple at Toys R Us looks like $1 store quality. I don't even buy them for my daughter). We are FAR AWAY from the silkstone wardrobe quality. I knew it would be made of plastic but there are plenty of types that can be used and going for the obvious cheap one is to my knowledge laughing at the people who buys them. Either Mattel should lower their prices OR give their customer a certain minimum of quality standard in their products. I do NOT feel that I'm getting my money's worth. Be assure that when a product is well made and well priced, I rush to write a good comment about it...Sorry it's not personal, if you would be kind enough to forward to the proper department. Have a good one, Josee
