A couple of "whines" to go with my cheese.......

1) During the big sale, I tried to order the Japanese Barbie and Ken.  It let me add them to the cart, but during checkout, it said "sold out".  I called customer service and they also told me the dolls were sold out.  I see they're back on the site.... any chance we can still get them for the sale prices?

2) Last year, I bought several Barbie travel bags to give as gifts for Christmas.  (Black with pink trim, Barbie on the front with a bow; has a hanger, and is black with pink polka-dots inside.)  They are long sold out.  About a week after giving my daughter hers, she told me the inside had ripped out.  Didn't know what she was talking about, and just chalked it up to her overloading it or something.  I've used mine 2 times now (2nd time at Thanksgiving), and yes, the inside (which I think is made of nylon), above the first zipper is totally ripped!  I didn't overload it.. it's from that doggone velcro!!!  I don't suppose you have any replacements left?  And PLEASE don't use velcro on these kinds of things in the future---even a plastic "button" would have worked to close it.  I hate, hate, hate velcro---that's why I don't buy any clothes with velcro for my dolls---the velcro ruins my dolls' hair or makes "pulls" on their clothes.  (and I don't "do" hair, makeup, sew, notta!)

Japan Barbie and Ken, along with the other newer releases could not be part of the sale because of contractual agreements with the dealers (many dealers had not received their shipments yet of these dolls).  They were pulled from the sale and returned to the Shop after the sale and cannot be discounted at this time.

 

We're sorry about your travel bags.  Since I can't answer that one, someone from CS will stop by and address your concerns/questions.
