Basics Shoe Pack Arrived..Defects Galore!

I placed an order a couple weeks back for a Charmaine King and the 18 pair Basics shoe pack from Barbiecollector.com. Charmaine arrived and was perfect but the shoe pack was horrible!!! All the pink details looked like they had a bad paint job. Faded/weak areas that you could see through on some areas. The pink paint also ran over onto the black soles of the shoes. It looks like watered down paint that ran all over the place and in some of the shoes the paint actually flaked off and is sitting in the bottom of the box! I have never seen such poor quality if shoes in all my years of Barbie buying! What happened?! Has anyone else had this problem? I really want a replacement, they are terrible!! They don't look nearly as well glossed and perfectly painted as the promo pics on the box!!

Thanks Shereem :) I actually emailed C.S a while ago so hopefully someone will respond to me soon. If not, I guess I'll have to try and schedule a call.

I bought 4 packs... each pack was stuffed up too but there is no way to get my problem solved since they are in Australia now. I've just donated them as prizes and raffles so people can see what the "bad bits" are and decide if they want to keep or give them away... I can't even resell them.

 

One pair of black shoes in the pack I kept... one shoe was matt and the other glossed... how ridiculous! How hard is it to stuff up simple black? Well... someone did...

I posted a complaint here a few months ago as did several others. All I got was a reply that it would be passed on. this product should be pulled, if a replacement was sent it would be the same poor quality

Thats so disappointing to hear. I was so excited and this shoe pack and the promo pics looked amazing! I guess we wont get really nice painted/gloss shoes unless they are in $60 Christian Loubaton collections packs huh?
