Guest BC DonD Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 We have always moved posts around to keep them in the proper forums, we are just pressed for time and cannot post a note everytime we do it. If you have a post moved and can't find it, search on your name and the timeframe you posted it in and it will come up unless it was moved out for Admin review. Don
Guest arington Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 I have a question about MOD's moving threads and not notifying members where the thread has been moved. My thread announcing my pregnancy The Bad & Good News ,was moved to "Off Topics" without anything being said. I have seen this done on numerous occasions and have always seen a link from a MOD announcing where the thread was moved......perhaps it was an oversight in this case. My second question on the subject is, "What exactly is not allowed to be posted on the General Forum?" I ask because I have seen many topics that have zilch to do with the Barbie General Forum that are not removed.....and then I see those that should be left on the General Forum that are removed. For future posting purposes it will be helpful for me to know if there is a set standard for the General Forum, or do the MOD's pick and choose what stays and what goes? Thanks for your reply in advance.
Guest BC DonD Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 Dee, your topic was not Barbie related it was a personal post (congrats by the way) and is considered an Off-Topic post(not Barbie related). Don
Guest BC JeffG Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 Also, Dee, to add to Don's post above, it is unlikely in the future that we will be posting the location of 'moved' threads. It simply takes too much time... for the most part, it should be obvious where the threads have been moved, since we follow the forum descriptions very closely. Jeff
