Guest BC CraigF Posted August 1, 2003 Posted August 1, 2003 I do find it hard to read all the new topics as they seem to be shattered all over the place and when you have click a topic it does not change color so when you go back you dont know what pages you have been to!! Is there any way that you can change this? Thank you
Guest BC CraigF Posted August 1, 2003 Posted August 1, 2003 Hi goldstar, Look for a little tiny globe symbol, it looks like this: If you click on this globe symbol you will see a list drop down. On this list is "New Since Your Last Visit" as well as "Today's Active Topics". Clicking on New Since Your Last Visit should take you to a page that lists all new posts since your last visit, sorted by date/time. Also, the topic not changing color has to do with the way we update some data. For example, you will also notice that sometimes the main forums listings will say the last post was at 11:00am, when in fact the last post was 11:02am. We update that type of information every few minutes, not automatically. This helps speed the site up because there is less CPU dedicated to updating last post and changing the color of the topics you have already read. If you are still experiencing the problems with the topic color not changing after, say, 15 minutes, please let us know so we can investigate further. Thanks, -Craig
