Thank you BC LouE for your answer to my other question Here but this Zaniac needs a little more hand-holding and better details, clarification and explanation please.

By nature, I'm very easy going, and I don't complain about much of anything, but I must protest my disappointment with this "new" New Since Your Last Visit feature and I'm at a loss of the removal of the old New Since Your Last Visit. Why, oh why, did Infopop change this?

It is certainly not the feature that I have come to know, appreciate and use as a great navigation tool here on the Board. For instance: What forum are the topics in? Are they polls, discussions, or photos? And why are there only a few on one page? Why can I not see when I get a new Private Message there?

The only one little thing I do like about it is that you know who the author is of the thread but, I'm sorry, I don't like the rest. I used to be able to see plenty of topics at once in a jiffy and I could either click on them or move on. Now it's as if I am wading through every thread, every post in that thread and feels like I'm practically reading a novel! It is just very disappointing to me.

I'm sure there's nothing that can be done at this point to change it back, but I hope there is something that can be added to make the old "New Since Your Last Visit" work like the previous one.

Please contact Infopop and let them know this Zaniac is very disappointed about this.

Thank you for your time, understanding and consideration of my complaint/request.

Hi BarbieZania, thanks for the feedback and I can totally understand where you're coming from on this. Unfortunately, Infopop made these changes with no input from us. We also have no control over how they choose to upgrade their software. There are other features we miss as well, but there isn't a thing we can do as they own the software and we simply license it. It's equivalent to asking Microsoft to change something about Windows - it just aint gonna happen. So sorry. Frown
