ALLISON-P Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 I asked this question at the beginning of the year and was told that mattel was working on this and looking at something happening in 2011 - but after noticing another member asking the same thing days ago, it looks like were still up the creek without a paddle - its funny that alot of other companies can mange send things world wide - and even more amusing that barbie is made and shipped from indonesia - but mattel still cant send to anywhere outside the US and Canada - maybe start with Australia and the UK - and build up from there - i know i would hate to stop collecting because of postage costs twice as much as the doll - but its starting to look that way - we get a lot less of the collector dolls in Australia to start with and if you dont have contacts in the US then you have to rely on a shipping company - the whole world does not revolve around North America - if you market something globally then it should be accessible globally - Never makes Someone a Priority - Who only makes you an Option !!!
SHEREEM Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Hi alyiecat! As you mentioned, BC Jodie did address this a few days ago: "We're aware that members would love international shipping - you wouldn't think it would be that hard, would you? But due to logistical issues internally, it definitely is. We do hear your request, however, and are working on a solution. Thanks, and have a great day! BC Jodie"
